Decalogue of the Fascist Soldier (1938)

(Also called the Decalogue of the Legionary.)

1. Remember that those who died for the Revolution and for the Empire came before you.

2. A comrade is your brother: he lives with you, he thinks like you, he fights beside you in battle.

3. Always serve Italy, now matter where you are, by any means: through work and through blood.

4. The enemy of Fascism is your enemy: do not let him in your home.

5. Discipline is the sun of the armies: it prepares and illuminates victory.

6. If you go on the assault with determination, then victory is already at hand.

7. Total and deliberate obedience is the virtue of the legionary.

8. There are no big or small things: there is only duty.

9. The Fascist Revolution has counted and still counts on the bayonets of its legionaries.

10. Mussolini is always right.
