I thank you with the greatest cordiality, Führer, for expressing your desire to be part of today's celebration of the March on Rome. Despite recent events, it remains a historic event in the life of the Italian people. Our adversaries, in their brief, inglorious and disastrous intermezzo, may destroy the external symbols, but they can never erase it. The Italian people are preparing to resume their role of entering battle on the front lines and will achieve that power and greatness that you wish. Accept, Führer, the expression of my faithful friendship and my unfailing camaraderie.
