On the anniversary of the signing of the Pact that sealed the determination of Japan, Italy and Germany to support the struggle against the common enemy until victory, I would like to reaffirm to Your Majesty my admiration for the heroism of the Japanese Imperial Armed Forces. They—together with the glorious armies of National Socialist Germany, joined by the resurgent Italian Army—will achieve the victory they deserve, which will ensure the world a just and lasting peace.
