Telegram to Adolf Hitler, December 12, 1943

(Published in Corriere della Sera, December 13, 1943)

December 12, 1943

On the occasion of the signing of the alliance that has inextricably linked the German, Italian and Japanese peoples in the common will to victoriously carry out this great struggle that will give the world a new and just order, I would like to confirm, Führer, that the Italian Social Republic is preparing to resume its place in battle on the front lines. With this firm determination, I send you, Führer, my fervid comradely greeting.
